Record Brazilian presence at FN Platform

                        The event gave Brazilian footwear companies the opportunity to consolidate their presence in the US market, which imported footwear valued at $106 million in 2015. It also provides a bridge to other potential markets in Canada and Central America.
The August edition of FN Platform featured 1,600 exhibitors from more than 20 countries. Among the Brazilian companies participating for the first time were Guilhermina, Ciao Mao and Klin.
Abicalçados said deals worth $1.3 million were negotiated during the event, level with FN Platform in August 2015. These deals were principally with US and Canadian companies, but companies from Europe, the Middle East and Latin America also featured.
