Bottega Veneta appoints new Greater China MD
Luxury house Bottega Veneta has named Dario Gargiulo managing director for Greater China.
Mr Gargiulo, who officially assumes his new responsibilities on July 1, currently serves in the position of chief marketing and digital business officer at the Kering-owned brand.
He will be succeeded by chief merchandising officer Samuel Diep, who will step into the role of chief merchandising and marketing officer on the same day. Before joining Milan-based Bottega Veneta, Mr Gargiulo worked for fellow Italian brands Diesel and Missoni. In between, he completed a 12-year stint at Heineken, working in Brazil and the Netherlands, as well as Italy.
