Ferragamo snaps up former Burberry man

Luxury brand Salvatore Ferragamo has named Donald Kohler as CEO of its Americas business, a role which will see him assume responsibility for the North, South and Central Americas markets.

He will also serve as the chief retail officer of the worldwide group, a newly-created position. 

It was announced just last week that Mr Kohler would be leaving UK-based luxury group Burberry, where he has worked since 2008. 

He will join Ferragamo on September 4.
