Couromoda unveils plans for digital congress

The organisers of the Couromoda footwear exhibition have revealed details of three new events that will take place ahead of the 2018 edition of the exhibition (January 14-17). 

All three will take place in Sao Paulo from November 10 to 12.

The Congresso Couromoda Digital will provide a platform for discussion about innovation, technology and the future of the fashion industry in the digital era, according to the director of Couromoda, Airton Manoel Dias. 

There will also be a Pre-Collection show for Couromoda 2018. It will give exhibitors an opportunity to assess the suitability of their collections for the main show in January. It will also serve as a platform for starting negotiations and securing advance orders. 

The European Shoe Case will give Brazilian designers the opportunity to see the products and shop windows that featured during the European winter season. 

In celebration of the event’s 45th anniversary, the organisers have also unveiled a new logo, which has been designed to represent how the show connects the footwear industry with the retail sector.
