Exporter focus at Couromoda

13/01/2016
The forty-third edition of the Couromoda footwear exhibition opened its doors in São Paulo from January 10-13.

Innovations on this occasion included two new showcases specifically for Brazilian footwear brands that want to increase their levels of business in export markets. The organisers’ hope was that the two new additions, Grupo Couromoda Exporter and Vitrine Couromoda Exporter, would draw the attention of the overseas buyers who travelled from 50 different countries to be present at the event.

Grupo Couromoda Exporter consisted of stands for brands to show off shoes that are exclusively for export. Companies taking part included Capelli Rossi, Nicola Mezi, Zeket, Cristófoli, Divitrini, Firezzi and T&G Fashion.

For its part, Vitrine Couromoda Exporter consisted of small, shop-window-style stands of 0.5 by 1 square-metre for brands to present samples of new collections that are available for export. Brands here included Walk Way, Ramarim, Comfortflex, Whoop, Maithe Shoes, Opananken Antistress, Opanan Kid´s, Alexa, Diabetic´s Line, Zero Stress, PG4 Galleria,  Private Label, Plugt, Radamés, Toni Salloum and Flexus.
