DSW searching for new CFO

US footwear retailer DSW is searching for a new chief financial officer after Mary Meixelsperger resigned from the role. She also served as a vice president of the company but will leave on June 10.

Jared Poss, vice president of finance, has been named as interim CFO having been with the company since January 2015. DSW plans to form a committee to find the right candidate to fill the role. Both internal and external candidates will be considered.

Mrs Meixelsperger joined DSW in 2014 after serving discount chain Shopko Stores for almost ten years in various capacities, including CFO, controller and treasurer. DSW said she is leaving to pursue an opportunity outside of the company.
