14 DSW stores to open in spring

US footwear retailer DSW is opening 14 stores nationwide this spring, with an average 25,000 pairs of name brand and designer shoes in each location.

Valara Gee, DSW’s vice-president of stores, said: "New store growth is an important and exciting piece of the DSW formula. It allows us to bring the brand to more communities and build relationships with new customers. More stores also enable us to provide additional customers with immediate access to our full assortment.”

The group owns 468 stores in 42 states.
