INESCOP presents 3D design updates

INESCOP, the Spanish Footwear Technology Institute, is to showcase its most recent technology developments in 3D footwear design at SIMAC, the International Exhibition of Machines and Technology for Footwear and Leathergoods Industries.

INESCOP’s Icad3D+ integrates pattern engineering with 3D design, enabling an “intuitive environment” for the designer.

This program allows the designer to add margins, symmetries and rotations and automatically recalculates material consumption.

The system also features a virtual photographic studio to obtain photo-realistic rendered images that can be used in catalogues or online.

SIMAC takes place in Milan, February 25 to 27, and is co-located with leather fair Linepelle.
