Icad3D features a new tool for the creation of footwear components (soles, platforms, wedges, heels, top-pieces) trims and accessories (lacing, zips, buckles, eyelets and studs) as well as a new module intended to eliminate the stiffness of models using “relaxing” techniques based on global deformations.
IcadFOR is a last engineering program, with new functions allowing the management of several lasts at the same time, as well as new editors aimed at footwear customisation. The program has 2D and 3D editors that allow the user to edit curves and points, as well as to measure, grade and join.
IcadPAT splits the shoe shell into pieces, grades them and cuts them out of the required materials. New features include allowing users to manage several models at the same time, and it boasts new operations for the development of pieces or the import/export of files, as for instance for interfacing to leading stitching machines.
INESCOP, founded in 1971, employs 130 full-time technicians, who advise more than 1,000 member companies and clients. It belongs to the Network of Technological Institutes of the Valencian Region, the Spanish Federation of Technology Centres and the European Union of Research Institutes for Shoes.
