Deckers-owned footwear company Ugg has named Hong Kong singer-songwriter Leah Dou, also known as Dou Jingtong, brand spokesperson for Asia-Pacific.

Ms Dou’s carefree, creative persona won her the campaign, China-based media said.

Ugg’s announcement was accompanied by a series of promotional videos, themed around its new Venture Daze series of footwear, which includes 'next-generation' styles in the same mould or “DNA” of its popular Tazz and Tasman suede slip-on shoes.
