Nonnative offers laceless take on Mizuno runners
Following four years of development, sports company Mizuno and cult fashion brand Nonnative, both based in Japan, have unveiled their first-ever collaborative product, a mid-cut boot without laces named the Wave Mujin TL GTX Nonnative.

Designed to mesh with the fashion label’s pared-back, understated aesthetic, without compromising on performance, the model offers a new take on Mizuno’s Wave Mujin TL GTX trail running shoe, though still built on Michelin’s technical rubber outsoles. Its stretchy, snug-fitting uppers have also been treated with a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex fabric membrane, as with the latest version from Mizuno.

Available in all-over “vintage khaki”, the dual-branded shoes are set for an April 15 release via select Japanese retailers, priced at approximately $200 or ¥27,000, excluding tax.
