Influencer turns full-time creative consultant at Gia Borghini
Danish fashion stylist and influencer Pernille Teisbaek was recently named creative consultant at Gia Borghini, formerly known as Gia Couture, a Florentine shoe label specialising in handmade luxury fashion footwear.
Since early 2020, Ms Teisbaek has worked on four successful collaborations alongside the label’s founder and designer, Barbara Borghini.
Together, the two creatives will now map out a “new” Gia, Ms Borghini said, with the Copenhagen-based influencer taking on a much-expanded role in design and branding across the brand as a whole.
Commenting on the news, Ms Teisbaek told her more than one million Instagram followers: “We have great synergy in our ambitions for future collections and [our vision of] the brand’s DNA and I look forward to being on this journey with Barbara and the team.”
