Reinvention of French footwear classic
Olivier Saillard, artistic director at JM Weston since 2018, has redefined the house’s Golf Derby by introducing a new, taller form, specifically geared towards the brand’s urban clientele.
This fresh reinterpretation of the 1955 JM Weston classic reaches just above the ankle and is produced using a smooth, calfskin leather (grey, black or coffee brown) in the house’s Limoges factory.
Lacing through the front, the boot-like shoes are set on a slight heel and have rounded-off, angular toes, with seamlessly joined toecaps.
The original J.M. Weston Golf Derby was inspired by “the sportsmen of the 1930s”.
