He said online sales, which now account for 7% of total revenue, are growing at “high double-digit” pace and that the group hopes this can continue in the next few years so that e-commerce becomes an even more important part of the business.
“Our recipe is known and unchanged. We want to keep our long-standing consumers and attract millennials,” Mr Della Valle explained. “We’ve got to the operational stage on some fronts and this gives us a little more confidence that the road taken is the right one.”
