The BFA’s ‘shoecase’ will take place on March 28 at Northampton’s Delapre Abbey, coinciding with the organsiation’s 120th anniversary dinner. All BFA members attending the dinner will be able to visit it.

The brands taking part are: Church, Cheaney, Sanders & Sanders, NPS, Jeffery West, Dr Marten (Airwair), Loake, Trickers, Crockett & Jones, Barkers and Grenson.

Making the announcement, new BFA chairman Robert Perkins said: “The British Footwear Association is an integral part of the shoe industry and we are delighted to bring together some of the Northamptonshire’s finest and most talented craftsman for this unique display. The footwear industry has ancient origins but today combines influences from fashion, craftsmanship, technology and innovation.”
