This will include new web pages and an email campaign targeted at retail buyers and potential sales agents and distributors.
The BFA has also developed a new international PR strategy, including increased support at the shows through collaborations with organisers in Italy and the US.
Richard Kottler, chief executive of the BFA, said: "All of the exporting companies will benefit from the tremendous range of activities designed to increase buyer footfall and to attract potential sales agents and distributors across many international markets. All of this comes at a time when British branded footwear has never been in such international demand."
The BFA represents 120 footwear brands, employing around 9,000 people in the UK. There are £6bn worth of shoes sold in the UK every year, and the British footwear industry is currently worth over £500m a year in exports.
