Micam award heads to Russia

Italy-based footwear show Micam has given Andreas Schmeidler, head of Russian department store TsUM, its top award, best foreign buyer.

TsUm in Moscow is home to 1,500 stores.

The ceremony took place on the opening night of the show (September 17), where special guests included DJ Bob Sinclar and Miss Italia 2017, Alice Rachel Arlanch.

Eight Italian buyers won the Shoe Retailers Century Award, a prize that rewards Italian companies that have been in the business for more than 100 years.
