Cheaney turns to Italy for range of driving shoes
Men’s shoe brand Cheaney has unveiled a range of moccasins inspired by the Italian driving shoes first produced in the 1960s. The shoe has been given the name Donnington.

They are made from calf leather and come in a variety of eye-catching colours, including burgundy, bottle green and cobalt blue.

In a break from tradition, Cheaney is having the shoes made at a factory in Italy, rather than at its own factory in Desborough, UK. The brand explained that this is due to the specialist machinery required to construct a moccasin, which is not available at its facility. It said going directly to Italy was the only way to ensure “the best quality driving shoe” for its customers.
