New store for Cheaney in Covent Garden

Joseph Cheaney has opened a new store on Henrietta Street in Covent Garden in London, its fifth in the city.

On announcing the opening, Cheaney described Henrietta Street as “a unique shopping hub”, focused on offering informal and stylish menswear, a street where independent brands sit alongside relaxed restaurants and bars, forming “a community of like-minded retailers”.

The new 50 square-metre store has high ceilings and large sash windows, complemented by a “pared-back concept”. A ‘polishing station’ sits in one window to allow passers-by and visitors to watch while shoes are finger-polished, which Cheaney has said will promote the importance of shoe-care.
