Pensole on the hunt for 3D design talent

To do so, it has launched the Fusion of Footwear design competition. Entrants must create their designs using Autodesk’s Fusion 360 software. They can choose from a range of categories, including casual lifestyle, fashion footwear and luxury shoes.
Entries will be accepted until January 22, with the top 20 designs being selected a few days later. They will be showcased at the FN Platform footwear trade show in Las Vegas, US (February 21-23).
“3D design is the future of our industry and with Autodesk’s Fusion 360 software and Wacom’s world class digital design equipment, we can provide aspiring footwear designers globally a platform to showcase their ability,” said D’Wayne Edwards, founder of Pensole.
