Demand for SATRA’s footwear solutions doubles in five years
Footwear testing group SATRA has said sales of its efficiency systems have doubled in the last five years, with particularly strong growth in India, Indonesia and Vietnam, reflecting the expansion of the footwear industry in these countries.
The production efficiency systems offer a blend of consultancy, software and training for the footwear and leather industries.
SATRASumm helps to reduce waste with leather cutting and grading software and enables managers to estimate the cost of materials, VisionStitch is designed to improve stitch quality and to ensure that workers are in the most comfortable position when using the sewing machines to reduce worker fatigue, while Timeline predicts the time and labour costs of a footwear production line before production starts.
