BFA event to boost UK brands’ sales in China

The British Footwear Association is co-organising a conference to help brands increase sales in China, where spending on e-commerce has increased by an average of 70% per year since 2009, it said.

“The digital landscape in China is very different to the West and understanding how to tap into this ever-growing market is now a necessity for British brands and businesses alike,” it said.

Held at the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce in Leicester on March 18, the event will cover the retail market and consumer behaviour changes; ecommerce platforms; Tmall; and social media and how it affects buying decisions.
