Roger Vivier stages first-ever Chinese exhibition
French luxury footwear business Roger Vivier, majority owned by the Della Valle family, has presented its spring-summer 2024 collection in Shanghai.
Invitees from the creative industries were treated to dinner and a tour of the brand’s Les Éléments Vivier exhibition, which creative director Gherardo Felloni uprooted from Paris especially for the occasion. The show marks the company’s first in China.
“This experience holds all the elements that represent the spirit of Roger Vivier,” Mr Felloni said.
“Being an artisan doesn’t just mean using our hands to create something, it means transmitting the culture of savoir-faire from generation to generation. This connection is the magic ingredient of true luxury.”
