Luxury leathergoods company Louis Vuitton has opened the doors to its first store in Sanya, an important duty-free travel retail destination on the Chinese island province of Hainan.

The city of Sanya lies to the south of the island, well-known at home and abroad for its tropical climate.

Louis Vuitton’s new, two-story boutique can be found not far from nearby Haitang Bay, inside the CDF Sanya International Duty-Free City (phase two).

Its collections span the brand’s footwear, leathergoods, luggage and Art of Living lines, plus more.
