Sportswear brand Nike has created a “more affordable option” for performance footwear designed with sustainability in mind, priced at $80.

The Nike Interact Run is made with at least 25% recycled material by weight, using an injection process for the midsole foam to help reduce material waste.

The Flyknit upper is made with 85% recycled polyester, while the waffle outsole is made with at least 13% recycled rubber.

A QR code on the tongue invites runners to learn more about how the shoes were created, how Nike’s Care-Repair program helps extend the life of the shoes, and where runners can find a drop-off location to recycle or donate their pair.
