Hotter's expansion plans include brand partnerships
Unbound Group, the parent company of Hotter Shoes, has hinted at “exciting brand partnerships” as it prepares to grow beyond footwear into clothing and “wellness”.

The group, owned by private equity firm Electra, listed on London’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM) last year.

It divested its other brands into a group called Hostmore and announced plans to target the clothing market.

It claims its 4.million-strong customer database represents 30% of the UK 55+ female population and first quarter revenues showed a double-digit increase.

CEO Ian Watson said: "I am delighted that the progress we have made in transforming Hotter continues to be translated  into improved financial performance. The development of the Unbound Group platform is gathering  pace and we have secured a number of exciting launch partner brands within footwear and apparel.

“We are engaged in positive discussions with a number of additional potential partners that will further develop our footwear and apparel offer and launch our wellness proposition, to be followed by other target categories in phased implementations.”
