New Treksta slides help prevent falls
Seoul-based outdoors brand Treksta recently announced the launch of its safety-oriented, functional Tsafe line and Tsafe-201 slide (pictured), ergonomically designed to avert falls and slips.
Undisclosed “new materials” help support the ankle, according to the brand, while proprietary WaterLock rubber outsoles provide the shoes with traction even on slippery floors to support stable walking. Airholes enhance breathability.
Treksta’s NestFit technology, based on data gathered from over 20,000 feet, has also been incorporated to provide optimal fit and boost comfort levels. (NestFit reduces foot pressure by 23% and muscle pressure by 31%, as described on the brand’s website.)
A spokesperson said that Treksta hopes to expand its safety footwear offering in the future.
