Farfetch-owned, New York-based sneaker and streetwear marketplace Stadium Goods has launched in South Korea, the company’s first venture outside the United States.

Opening as a store-within-a-store concept inside Fred Segal in the East Asian country’s upmarket Galleria department store, Galleria will hold exclusive domestic rights to the sale of Stadium Goods merchandise within Korea.  

A spokesperson for Galleria commented that the launch had garnered much attention among the country’s sneakerheads and streetwear enthusiasts, particularly owing to the rarity of being able to try on and purchase Stadium Goods’ limited edition, difficult to obtain wares on home turf.
