Melody Ehsani joins Foot Locker as first women’s creative director
                        Los Angeles-based streetwear design guru Melody Ehsani has joined Foot Locker as its first creative director for the women’s footwear, apparel and accessories categories. 
“Everyone that works in streetwear has Melody Ehsani on their radar,” brand marketing director at Foot Locker, Alexis Stoll-Scigliano, commented. 
In addition to both the New York-headquartered footwear retailer and her own label, Ms Ehsani has previously worked with Nike’s Jordan Brand, for whom she designed the Air Jordan 1 Mid Fearless shoe, which sold out in under two minutes when it first dropped in November 2019. 
“Dear world,” Ms Ehsani wrote on Instagram, “I am honoured and excited to be joining Foot Locker as their first ever creative director for the women’s business. 
“I am eager to use my experience, not just as a designer, but as a consumer, a community builder and a lover of basketball [to help shape the future of Foot Locker]. I am deeply motivated to expand the lens through which the feminine is seen.”
