Ecuador turns to Mexico to boost leather and footwear sector

Forty representatives of Ecuador’s national footwear association travelled to Mexico at the start of November to take part in technical training exercises at the specialist Ciatec centre in León and to visit the most recent edition of the Anpic exhibition, which took place in the city from November 2-4.

President of the Ecuadorian association, Lilia Villavicencio, said: “We have a lot to learn from Mexico. The industry in Mexico is improving all the time and reaching markets all around the world.”
