New chief executive for Clarks

                    Clarks said its new chief executive will help the board “build a strategy to ensure the business is well placed to grow meaningfully and sustainably”.
Chairman, Tom O’Neill, said on making the announcement that Mr Shearwood will bring business leadership and strong brand and retail skills to Clarks. “He also brings proven experience of introducing and applying innovative omni-channel initiatives, which will help us deliver on our new strategy and accelerate plans to deliver the next chapter of Clarks’ development,” Mr O’Neill added.
Clarks is a £1.5 billion global business operating retail, wholesale, franchise and online channels in over 100 markets worldwide.
