Skechers takes up extra logistics space in Belgium go help it meet growth

Footwear brand Skechers is to take up an even greater volume of distribution space at a logistics park run by Prologis near Liège in Belgium. The new lease, for 55,000 square-metres extra, will take to more than 100,000 square-metres the space that Skechers uses at the site. It has had a presence there since 2002.

Prologis Park Liège is close to Belgium’s borders with Germany and the Netherlands and is only an hour’s drive from Brussels.

Skechers vice-president in Europe, Sophie Houtmeyers, said the additional space there would allow her company to scale up its distribution capacity and meet its plans for growth.
