Testing group Intertek has expanded its footwear testing laboratory in Vietnam to support the rapidly growing industry.

The expansion address stages of production across the supply chain and analysts can performs a range of chemical testing for substances of very high concern, as well as chemicals commonly found in various consumer goods including leather and footwear.

Michael Fok, vice president for Intertek in South East Asia, said: “The expansion is not just an addition to our global service footprint, but the key intent is to empower our customers in the manufacturing, retail and other sectors with greater accessibility to reliable and quick turnaround solutions.”
