China’s leather industry will overcome obstacles, says CLIA

The president of the China Leather Industry Association, Su Chaoying, opened the China Leather Brand Congress by thanking the government for its support of the leather industry.

Held in Beijing, the congress also highlights some of China’s best leather and footwear companies during an awards ceremony.

Mr Chaoying said: “As a nationally recognised trademark, Genuine Leather Mark is not only a certification for the quality of credibility of China’s leathergoods, but also a symbol of innovation, transformation, quality service, dedication and constantly improving craftsmanship.”

He added that he is confident the leather industry would overcome current obstacles, start a new journey and make progress towards its goals.
