Crocs completes management shake-up with CEO appointment

Crocs has named its new CEO as Gregg Ribatt, former interim CEO of Spanx and CEO of Collective Brands Performance & Lifestyle Group, which includes the Saucony, Sperry Top-Sider, Keds and Stride Rite brands.

"Gregg brings to Crocs a two-decade record of success and leadership in guiding companies through significant growth  and transformation," said Thomas Smach, Crocs chairman.

"Since Gregg joined our board in January, he has contributed to efforts to conceptualise the Crocs of the future."

Before joining Collective Brands, Mr Ribatt was CEO at Stuart Weitzman, a luxury women's fashion footwear company.
He will be based in new commercial centre in Boston and will take up the role in late January.

Former CEO John McCarvel stepped down in April. Since that time, the brand has revamped the management team in the face of falling profits.
