Two Ten Foundation donates $800,000 to scholarships
The Two Ten Footwear Foundation, a charity linked to the US footwear industry, has awarded a total of $800,000 in scholarships to 322 students for the upcoming academic year.
The scholarships, provided yearly to eligible footwear employees and their families through the generosity of Two Ten’s donors, have helped make university and professional development opportunities more affordable for students since the programme’s inception in 1969.
Neal Newman, president of Two Ten, said: “We’ve delivered close to $19 million of college and design scholarships to 6,000 footwear employees and their children over the last 45 years. The more we grow our unique array of college and professional education scholarships, the more our footwear community thrives.”
