Skechers opens flagship store in Copenhagen
Skechers has opened its first flagship store in Copenhagen, marking a further step in the company’s retail expansion across the Nordic region.
Located at Amagertorv, the new store spans 700m² and presents the brand’s full range of lifestyle and performance footwear, alongside apparel and accessories. The opening strengthens Skechers’ presence in Denmark, where it now operates 32 stores.
President Michael Greenberg said the flagship launch reflects continued growth in the Nordics and supports the company’s strategy of investing in physical retail spaces that allow consumers to experience its products directly.
Country manager Peter Jørgensen added that the high-footfall Amagertorv location offers strong visibility among both local shoppers and international visitors.
The store features a modern retail concept inspired by mid-century design, incorporating digital LED displays and dedicated product zones. These include sections for lifestyle footwear, children’s collections, and a performance area covering sports such as running, football, golf, basketball and outdoor activities.
