Danish leather footwear manufacturer Ecco has debuted a Japan-only golf shoe model alongside local brand Minotaur, known for its high-end clothing and accessories lines.

The limited-edition silhouette, called the Biom C4, is priced at approximately $675 or ¥100,000 a pair.

Supply is limited to 300 pairs in white and 200 in black, beginning February 9. The women’s version will be available for purchase in white only.

Built on a stabilising Ecco Mtn grip outsole, the Biom C4 is the first-ever golf shoe to utilise Boa’s precision-fit dial system, local media said. The Ecco-tanned leather uppers have been made waterproof through application of Gore-Tex Surround technology.
