Political presence at Micam

On the second day, Italy’s deputy prime minister, Matteo Salvini, visited the event at the same time as the president of Spain’s biggest footwear-manufacturing region, Valencia, Ximo Puig.
Mr Salvini toured the exhibition accompanied by the president of Italian footwear manufacturers’ association Assocalzaturifici, Giovanna Ceolini.
Her counterpart in Spain, Rosana Perán, president of FICE, hosted Mr Puig’s tour, which concentrated on visits to the stands of some of the Spanish brands that travelled to Milan to take part.
