Rykä launches first collection for pregnant women
Footwear brand Rykä has unveiled its first athletic shoes designed for pregnant women.
The XpectFit collection features a wider forefoot, for swollen feet, and a narrower heel for a more secure fit.
The OrthoLite insole promotes circulation, and stretchy, breathable materials provide comfort.
Each shoe features Rykä’s proprietary Re-Zorb Lite insert for impact protection and shock absorption, an internal fused support sleeve promotes lateral stability, and a rubber outsole offers traction and durability.
All XpectFit styles are machine-washable.
Natelle Baddeley, vice-president of design, said: “We have a long history of creating shoes just for women, and it was a natural next step for us to design this collection for soon-to-be mothers.
“After months of successful wear testing with women in various stages of pregnancy, we are excited to now be able to offer the shoes.”
