China’s Red Dragonfly soars 17%
Wenzhou, Zhejiang province-headquartered footwear and leathergoods company Red Dragonfly has posted operating income of around $186 million (¥1.2 billion) in its recently released semi-annual report. 
This figure represents a year-on-year increase of 16.7%.
Red Dragonfly, which currently owns 415 stores, plans to “gradually build a multi-brand matrix”, Chinese media said. 
At present, the company operates its eponymous Red Dragonfly brand, plus Red Dragonfly Kids as its “main” revenue streams, but also owns “other brands” including casual footwear and premium business footwear labels, plus a trend-led leather handbag brand.
