The list suggests that, this year, it has been all about the toe, with an emphasis on hardware and the look rather than the height of boot heels themselves:
1. Round toe (Bottega Veneta, Prada, Ganni and Ann Demeulemeester all did this well, according to the magazine)
2. Square toe (Miista, By Far, Manu Atelier, Lost in Echo)
3. Pointed toe (Stuart Weitzman, Jimmy Choo, Isabel Marant)
4. Animal print (Jeffrey Campbell, Schutz)
5. Hardware (Louis Vuitton, Ulla Johnson, Alexander Wang, Peter Do, Needle Studio, Lucia Tacci)
6. Buckles (Roger Vivier, It’s Toasted)
7. Chunky heel (Rouje, Saint Laurent, Celine, Tony Bianco)
