Prada opens boutique in Tokyo

The street-facing entrance will have a large window, “allowing a view into a dreamlike, virtual ‘container’ against a dynamic backdrop,” the company said.
The interior is minimalist and sleek, with a black and white chequered floor and walls designed in a backlit material designed by OMA — an architectural studio founded for the Prada Epicenter in Los Angeles.
Earlier this year, the company said it had to close up to 70% of its stores in April, because of the coronavirus. As the brand began to reopen stores and show signs of recovery, it reported seeing "significant growth" in Asia.
