Tapestry sees revenue grow in third quarter

US leathergoods group Tapestry, formerly known as Coach Inc., achieved revenue of $1.33 billion in the third quarter of the fiscal year (ended March 30), a 2% increase at constant currency rates compared to the same period of last year.

Net sales for the Coach brand were $965 million, up 1% year-on-year. Comparable store sales also increased 1%.

The Kate Spade brand brought in revenue of $281 million, an increase of 5% compared to the first three months of 2018. This was driven by strong e-commerce sales. 

Footwear brand Stuart Weitzman achieved sales worth $85 million, up 4% at constant currency rates.
