Having already set up centres in Sri Lanka and Malawi with proceeds from sales, it is currently constructing one in Brazil and another in Nepal.
The centres provide a safe place for children to learn life skills, as well as maths, languages and science.
The initiative is part of the company’s ‘Don’t Just Exist – Give Back’ programme, set up by Paul and Rob Forkan who felt they wanted to help others when they returned to the UK with their two siblings after the tsunami.
“We are grateful to everyone who has supported the Gandys Foundation and made it possible for people in the community to be in a safe and enriching environment,” said Paul.
