Ugg recruits fashion designer for new collection

Deckers-owned footwear brand Ugg has collaborated with US fashion designer Phillip Lim on a new range of men’s footwear. 

Mr Lim served as creative director for the limited-edition capsule collection, which includes four different styles of Ugg’s Classic boots for men – the Classic High, Classic Short, Outdoor High and Outdoor Short. 

“Phillip Lim brings a fresh perspective to our men’s line, re-imagining our iconic styles in a new way. This collection reflects his thoughtful craftsmanship in artful stitching and precise detail,” said Andrea O’Donnell, Ugg brand president.

Mr Lim said the designs were inspired by his Californian roots and his memories of wearing Ugg products. The collection will be available in time for Autumn 2017.
