Footwear company Ugg has opened a new retail outlet at the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas, US, bringing its total number of stores in the city to three. 

The opening forms part of Ugg’s efforts to diversify from a sheepskin boot label to a lifestyle brand. The new store includes a variety of footwear styles, lounge wear, handbags and accessories. It will carry Ugg’s classic styles as well as newer designs such as the Classic II Boot, which features water- and stain-resistant technology and is more lightweight. 

Gerard Marceda, vice president of retail for North America, said that the brand has also reviewed the appearance of its stores.
“Reflecting our native California coastline our physical store locations immerse our customers in the UGG lifestyle,” she explained.
