Bruno Magli targets US store openings

Italian luxury brand Bruno Magli is to open its first retail store in the US in January. The store will be located in Miami and will sell footwear, accessories and men’s tailored clothing. 

The brand plans to open a total of three stores in the US during the course of 2017. It is part of a wider strategy to expand its retail presence across Asia, Europe and the US by 2020. It currently operates several stores in South Korea as well as having shop-in-shops and boutiques in a range of other retail locations. 

The Miami store will showcase the brand’s spring 2017 footwear collections. They are being released under the Bruno Magli USA division of Marquee Brands, which owns the Bruno Magli label. 

Marquee Brands has partnered with US shoe company Harbor Footwear for the design, production and sale of the shoes, which include items for men and women. 

“We’re excited to partner with Marquee on this iconic brand that has such a long and storied history, and we look forward to using our expertise in sourcing, design and distribution to help take Bruno Magli to the next level in the consumer marketplace,” said Jason Lazar, chief operating officer of Harbor Footwear.
