Bearpaw appoints former VF man as CFO

US shoe brand Bearpaw Footwear has named Jason Martini as its new chief financial officer (CFO). He will oversee the company’s manufacturing planning and financial development, both domestically and overseas.

Mr Martini recently ended his 10-year stay at VF Corporation, where he served in various capacities within the group’s Jansport brand. The last of these was chief financial officer.

“With Jason Martini’s impressive background, we are very fortunate to have him join Bearpaw, bringing with him a deep knowledge of what is needed to transform the explosive demand for Bearpaw’s platform into a financially strong business,” said John Pierce, president of Bearpaw. 

Bearpaw also announced the appointment of Edna De Pamphilis as its marketing director. She will lead the brand’s marketing and communication efforts, developing new marketing strategies to continue growing Bearpaw’s identity.
