Oboz celebrates planting one million trees

27/07/2016
Outdoor footwear company Oboz is to hold a special event at the upcoming Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City (August 3-6) to celebrate helping to plant more than one million trees.

The US company is a long-standing supporter of Trees for the Future, an international aid organisation that plants trees to improve the lives and environment of communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. Oboz makes a donation to the organisation for each pair of shoes or boots it sells.

“We’re excited to reach this milestone, thanks to the incredible trust and support from retailers that have helped Oboz thrive and grow since 2008,” said John Connelly, Oboz founder and President.

Guests at the event in Salt Lake City will have the opportunity to try on Oboz shoes and the brand will plant a tree for every pair tried on.
